Pine wilt disease spreading prevention system using semantic segmentation

چکیده

Pine wilt disease is a that affects ecosystems by rapidly killing trees in short period of time due to the close interaction between three factors such as trees, mediates, and pathogens. There no 100% mortality infectious forest pests. According Korea Forest Service survey, April 2019, damage pine re-nematode was about 490,000 dead 117 cities, counties wards across country. It's fatal condition. In order prevent this problem, paper proposes system detects early infection like, using deep learning-based semantic segmentation. addition, drones were used photograph area forest, separate pixel segmentation label could be identify levels transmission information: Suspicion, attention, confirmation. This allows user grasp information area, location, alarm spread disease.

Pine wilt disease – a threat to pine forest in Europe

Pine wilt disease caused by pine wood nematodes is endemic to North America. Pine wood nematodes have already spread to East Asia, including China, Taiwan and Korea in addition to Japan. The pine wood nematode, Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, was discovered in Portuguese pine forests in 1999. If it were to become established in the pine forests in Europe, it could become one of the most serious thr...

History of pine wilt disease in Japan.

Pine wilt disease induced by the pinewood nematode, Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, is a great threat to pine forests in Japan. The first occurrence of the disease was reported in Nagasaki, Kyushu. During the 1930s the disease occurrence was extended in 12 prefectures, and in the 1940s the disease was found in 34 prefectures. The annual loss of pine trees increased from 30,000 m(3) to 1.2 million m...

Role of Phytotoxins in Pine Wilt Disease

Characteristic rapid death of pines after infection by Bursaphelenchus xylophilus suggests the involvement of phytotoxins in the pine wilt disease syndrome. Crude extract from diseased pine is toxic to pine seedlings, whereas an extract from healthy pine is not. The response of seedlings to the crude toxin is more prominent in susceptible pine species than in resistant ones. Benzoic acid, catec...

Detection of the Pine Trees Damaged by Pine Wilt Disease Using High Spatial Remote Sensing Data

Since 1988 pine wilt disease has spread over rapidly in Korea. It is not easy to detect the damaged pine trees by pine wilt disease from conventional remote sensing skills. Thus, many possibilities were investigated to detect the damaged pines using various kinds of remote sensing data including high spatial resolution satellite image of 2000/2003 IKONOS and 2005 QuickBird, aerial photos, and d...

The expressed genes of Japanese red pine (Pinus densiflora) involved in the pine wilt disease severity

Background Japanese pine trees have been severely damaged by the pine wilt diseases, and hardly been keeping the productive forest in Japan. The pine wood nematode,Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, is a virulent pathogen in Japan, while it is originated and is an endemic one in the United State [1]. The diseases have now been spread not only in East Asia but also in a part of Europe. The Japanese Gov...
